L'AUTRE RIVES IN THE PRESS

Since l’Autre Rives opened, we’ve been lucky enough to have had a few press articles about the house, as well as 3 reports: France 3 shortly before the opening in 2016, Dominique Perrin’s spotlight in Télé matin and La Maison France 5 in November 2017. We have also been selected by French and international tourist guides. Here is a small selection.

Behind the scenes of a bed and breakfast opening

Preparations for the opening of the L’Autre Rives guest house in Albi. Behind the walls of this house, a dozen or so workers are hard at work as the big day approaches! And the head of the site is the owner, Isabelle. And this morning, it’s all hands on deck, because there’s barely a month to go before the opening of her guest rooms… Time is running out. Isabelle needs to be everywhere. This morning, she’s in charge of the electricians and also has to start assembling the 900 kg of furniture she received the day before… A real full-time job for a site manager.

Albi, from one bank of the Tarn to the other

Not far from the centre of the Episcopal City, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, a 1930s building has been converted into a guest house. The majestic Sainte-Cécile cathedral can be seen from the lounge of the Zen suite.
